I have been waking up very early since this has happened to Mark, even when I try to sleep. Sleep will not come. My mom has told me she has been doing the same thing. She by nature is an early riser about 5:30 am to 6:00 A.M. But since this has happened to Mark she has not been able to sleep as late as she normally would. God has been speaking to both our hearts in the early morning. My Mom has told me on several occasion that, God has spoken to her several times pertaining to Mark and our whole family. Every time she tells me something. That God has laid on her heart, I know it was given to her from God because of what she has said.
The Lord wants to communicate with us. We need to learn to listen, and be obedient to what he is saying, nothing he ever tells us to do will ever harm us but will only benefit us. If we listen to God he will make a way for us. He will prompt are hearts to pray when prayer is needed. He will even prompt our hearts to pray on behalf of others. See Mom was praying on my behalf yesterday she saw that I was weak and she interceded on my behalf. Her prays and the prayers of others for me have strengthen me, I need them. They have worked. We all need prayer all the time but at times there are things that we need specifically prayed for. I did not tell my Mom to pray for me, but she did because she saw my need. She told me the next morning that she had been praying for me and what her prayer was for. I had been having a hard time dealing with this area of my life. I was needing prayer. For I was weak in this area of my life and she was standing in place for me. Mom thank you for paying attention to the holy spirit and being obedient and praying for me when you felt their was a need and everyone else that has prayed for me. We all should call upon one another for prayer and be willing to listen to correction from loves ones that are believers in the Lord. God corrects us because he loves us and only wants what is best for us. He doesn't want anything in the way of our relationship with him. So often we allow these things to interfere with our hearts. When we allow his correction we can become closer to him. Lord I give everything to you it is no longer mine. Free my heart, so that I might be connected to you. Take away all barriers and let me only see you.
Alex and Cathy Simpson are heading back home today so Hank and I meet with them for coffee before they left. We had a nice visit with them. Alex called us later on in the day and told us Cathy's dad Bob had accidentally shot his hand and his leg. I prayed with Cathy that everything would be ok. I would ask all of you to pray for him and his family. Cathy I send my love.
Hank, Benjamin and me went to go see Mark. Mom was there, and Mark was watching the football game. We asked him if we could turn it off while we talked to him, he said sure. Mark wanted to see my boy Benjamin. He wanted to give him a present. Mark thought he had a check in his pocket to give Ben. I told him you don't have a check in your pocket Mark, he said ok. Mark has alot of confusing thoughts. He is confused at times. He will make up a story and we don't always know what he is trying to say to us. Then on the other hand he will know exactly what he is talking about.
